The ISOPlanner™ GDPR Privacy Module

No spreadsheets. No separate tools. The ISOPlanner™ Privacy Module gives you a structured, connected register of processing activities, built into the same environment as your ISO 27001 and NIS2 compliance programme.

Processing Activities Register

All GDPR requirements are available out of the box. From the basic information such as purpose, owner and retention to processors, recipients and joint controllers. This complex legislation is made easy in ISOPlanner™.

Connected to Your Compliance Programme

The Privacy Module connects to your compliance work. Processing activities link to your assets, risks and controls in your active frameworks. This ensures an integrated view of your compliance frameworks and GDPR legislation.

Integrated DPIA Checklist

Data Protection Impact Assessments follow a structured checklist built into the module. Easily start a preliminary DPIA assessment and track progress. When done, the results are directly available in the register for approval.

Data Processing Agreements

Access data processing agreements directly from the processing activity record through the ISOPlanner™ Library, without switching between systems.

Approval Flow

Processing activities follow a controlled approval process. Users without approval rights can create a new processing activity, request approval and follow status. Approvers, this could be the Data Protection Officer, gets a task assigned including a comprehensive report.

Frequently Asked Questions

01.

What does the Privacy Module cover?

The module covers the core operational requirements for GDPR compliance: maintaining a processing register, conducting and documenting DPIAs, managing data processing agreements, and creating a traceable record of privacy decisions, all  within your existing ISOPlanner™ environment.

02.

How do I activate it?

Go to Administration, open the Settings page, and click the Modules tab. Activate the Processing Activities module from there.

03.

Does it replace my spreadsheet?

Yes. All GDPR-required fields are available in the module. The register lives inside ISOPlanner™, connected to your assets, risks, and controls, rather than in a separate file with no owner and no audit trail.

04.

How does it connect to ISO 27001?

Processing activities link directly to assets, risks, and controls already in your programme. Privacy risks appear in the same risk register as information security risks. There is no parallel process.

05.

What is the compliance check?

A validation feature that examines all fields of a processing activity and reports which required fields are missing or incomplete. With the AI Assistant enabled, it also provides guidance on what each field should contain.

06.

Who can use it?

The Privacy Module is available for all ISOPlanner™ subscriptions: NIS2, Basic, Business, and Premium. The primary user is typically the Data Protection Officer or whoever holds that responsibility.

07.

Is it a separate purchase?

Yes. The Privacy Module is an add-on, activated per subscription in the administration settings.
