Use the Organization menu in ISOPlanner to describe the processes and objectives of your organization.
Processes #
List your business processes here. For each process you can choose a parent process, creating a hierarchy. One way to organize your processes is by department, like “HR”, “Development” and “Sales”. Examples of processes are:
- New employee onboarding process
- Information security incident process
- Software development process

Properties
For each process, you have the following properties:
- Code
- Owner
- Group
- PDCA status
- Tags
- Description
Related information #
The pane which can be opened on the left contains more information related to process. For example, in the ‘Library’ tab you can link documents to the process. That may include a document that describes your process. If the linked document lives in SharePoint, then you can include the document content in a tab in ISOPlanner with the process.
Also, in the ‘Context’ tab, you can link objectives, requirements, risks and controls to this process. Read more about related information.
Tasks #
When a process is opened, by default it shows a ‘Details’ tab. There is also a ‘Tasks’ tab where you can create new tasks in the context of this process.
Objectives #
List your organization objectives here. For each objective you can choose a parent objective, creating a hierarchy. Examples of objectives are:
- Achieve a high level of service user satisfaction
- Maintain a high level of system reliability
- Maintain the ability to recover the systems in the event of a disaster
